2008 AD as we are in, refreshing back about "10,000 BC" - A movie of its kind! My kind of movie too! I always wonder about how 'this' all happened and changed. 'This' i mean the transformation of man, the growth of civilization, the boundaries, the wars, the languages etc.The movie is about fight and animosity at those(pre-historic) times. Man has had so many enemies, one side its the wild animals-the large tooth tigers and the mammoths; while the other side it’s the man himself.
We can see the differentiation between men from different regions of the world, men from different civilizations. Well, we see that even now. The movie shows where and how it all started.
The pyramid construction; men being treated slaves for it; the killing of the mammoths for food; were all beautifully portrayed in the picture. One more creation with awesome graphics but there is surely something missing.

What's missing is the historical facts. Looks like there are a lot of historical loop-holes in the movie. Not watched it yet. (not planning on watching as well). Read the critics review and dropped.

Talking abt Historical Facts and flaws in the movie;
wiki says 'English' language was discovered during 5th century AD. But the movie would not have run if its with gestures or if language was not given importance. So as you say there are a many loop-holes....
But for the killing of mammoths this movie '10000 BC' can be watched at least once...

i watched this movie the very first day released in theatres...Seeing the trailer, thought the movie shud have been made in a brilliant way...but later found the director has selected the best parts of the movie..
there were a few amazing scenes like catching the mammoths...but except that, there was nothing new...
my honest opinion is, having selected such a good theme, could have used it better... as u said there is something missing...

One great scene in the picture is hunting the mammoths. Loved it!!! Analysing whats missing in the movie, maybe in 2 hrs time thats how much the team could give. Maybe, there should be 'part 2' of the movie to describe more....
Really want more movies of this kind to be released...
like, about the pre-historic times, stone ages,adam-eve etc.
